Hello, everyone, welcome to this week in fantasy baseball. I'm John Coe, joined by Patrick Fitzgerald.

We are officially in the baseball season. It's exciting. We actually have real games that matter.

How are you doing, Patrick?

Hey, John, I'm doing well. Happy to be here for the first episode of the regular season, coming back for a second season on the pod with you.

And I caught a

caught a game already so went to uh twins Orioles on on Sunday twins fell to my owes for the game in the

series but it was a good game and yeah saw the most challenges so far the season in that game I'm

not sure if that's still the case but it was at least on Sunday so yeah had a good time at the yard and happy the baseball's back. How are you? I'm doing all right. I'm doing better than the twins. I'll say that. They're currently two and four. And it looks like that might be the case for the entire season that they're going to be kind of hovering in that, you know, winning or losing most of their series and maybe

winning a couple here and there.

But, yeah, I mean, my fantasy teams are kind of doing okay right now.

We did have a fun little situation in one of my teams where we drafted Connor Griffin,

and then after the news that he wasn't going to make the opening a roster roster we dropped him because we figured hey the pirates are going to do some weird

you know service time manipulation thing and lo and behold one week later after opening day

the pirates like just kidding we're bringing him up so that was a little unfortunate but um yeah just

trying to get back at the swing of like fab and waivers and just trying to remember how to pick up players.

It's been nice to, I don't know, get back into the swing of things, but it is a long season.

And it's easy to get kind of either excited or too disappointed about how the first week is going.

Yeah, yeah, I've got to settle in.

Definitely extremes. I think I have. So two teams in the O.C. This year is kind of like my most important leagues. And at one point, I think one of them was in 16th place and the other one was in 2776 place. And that's out of 2,780. So I was almost dead last with one of my teams while being close to first with the other

one.

So just shows, you know, same manager of two teams, very different outcomes.
