I'm a cereal enthusiast who sounds like this today and my name is Justin McAroy.

My name is Dan Gubair. I mean, I feel like I've said cereal mad scientists before, but I think it belongs in this episode most of all.

Dan, I'm sorry about the sonic displeasure being caused by my voice this evening.

Oh, it's all right. I mean, is it the common cold?

It is but the common cold and sadly cereal has not fixed it, which seems like what's the point, even, you know?

I mean, it can exercise some demons, but others take time.

You know, Dan, it's funny this first story. I was grilling you about this off mic. That's right.

When Dan and I aren't recording, we talk about cereal.

So, three months ago now in July, we first got a pretty grainy image of a hostess Twinkie cereal as sort of the third piece of the tri-force started by powder donut cereal and honey bun cereal.

Again, it was a blurry photograph and there wasn't really any sort of, you know, edible confirmation, like visually edible confirmation until just now.

So, this came from Devon who also broke the news about the blueberry ego cereal as well as the blueberry muffin toasters.

And I'm just trying to stop and think about it and stop myself from saying blueberry muffin tops.

It's frustrating, yeah. I don't appreciate that.

Yeah, the revisionist history, I don't know. Something about the top is really just what sealed it.

It's a great concept, you know? A really, but muffin toast and specifically muffin toasters, that's that thing.

Is this just just made from the bottoms? I guess.

I get off topic. So, he sent a photo of the Twinkie cereal itself and I mean, it looks about how you'd expect.

They kind of look like grubs or perhaps, you know, large buttered beans or maybe a white cheddar cheeto puff.
