Hello, hello, everyone.

I'm Tanya Dalton, owner of Inkwell Press, and I'm here to give you another episode of The Weekender.

This is a new style of mini episode that I'm sharing on Fridays each week with a little story,

inspiration, or productivity tip to help you end your week on the right note.

This week, in episode 38, I shared my favorite

technology apps and programs to help you streamline your own systems. And I had one more to share

because I really think it's a great way to communicate with your team, your family, or your friends.

And that is V. Like Boxer with a V. If you aren't using this app,

I highly recommend it because it takes your texting to a whole new level. Just like texting,

you can type messages, you can send photos or emojis, and you can communicate with either one

person or a group.

What I think is really great is how easy it is to send voice messages back and forth.

Just open the app, press a button, and talk.

Couldn't be easier.

And if that person happens to be on Voxer at the same time because you're maybe in the

middle of sending messages

back and forth. It literally works like a high-tech walkie-talkie. You know, just like the one you

used to use with your best friend under the pillow fort and elementary school, only this is so

much better. And if you aren't on the app, it saves that message for you to play later.

I want to say that I don't think this totally replaces texting, but texting isn't always

quick and easy. I, for one, hate typing really long messages on my phone. But with Voxer,

you push the button, talk into the phone, and boom, you're done.
