As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise around the country, the White House's messaging

around the disease is going through something of a shift, saying they do not intend to

close down schools and businesses during the latest COVID surge. Could this be a sign

that the left finally realizes the constant lockdowns and school closures and all that

stuff are untenable? I'll answer the question in tonight's Hold the Line.

Welcome to Hold the Line on Buck Sexton. The White House knows that they've got a

big problem on their hands right now because you have over 130,000 cases a day

based on the seven-day average and CDC data of COVID-19. Despite over 60% of the

overall population vaccinated, about 90% of the 65-and-up population vaccinated, we

are seeing a massive surge. What the heck is going on? Well, some of us have been

looking at the data for months and saying, hold on a second, these vaccines aren't as

protective against infection and transmission, as we've been told. In fact, infected people

who are vaccinated have the same level of virus as tested recently. They may have a

shorter window of transmissibility, but still the same level of virus when they can transmit.

That is what the SIGAN tells us. So stopping the spread is not something this White House

has been doing. The White House put out a statement on Omicron specifically and it shows

that they don't seem to be willing right now to go into full-on lockdown mode. We are

intent on not letting Omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You've done

the right thing and we will get through this. For the unvaccinated, you're looking at

a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families and the hospitals you may

soon overwhelm. Let's understand something right now, friends. First of all, there are plenty,
