you say, on the podcast, on the Code Story podcast, he is a Treehouse graduate and is actually working

full-time for Treehouse as a technical evangelist living in Southern Louisiana.

Before we jump into your introduction to Treehouse and into technology, tell me a little bit more about you.

Well, let's see. I'm in southern Louisiana. I've

been here my whole life up until recently. I actually just moved back. I was living in Texas for

about five to six years and I'm living back here now. It's pretty different than Texas. The

heat's pretty hot. So I am a technical evangelist at Treehouse. I basically get to build some pretty cool stuff for the

community and try to help the engagement with the students.

Well, let's jump into the meat of it a bit. So tell me about how you came across Treehouse

and what attracted you to it originally. Tell me this story about how you got involved.

So I was basically living in Louisiana and I was in the oil and gas industry and it kind of crashed.

As you know, it goes up and it goes down.

And it looked like it moved to Texas.

So I went to Texas along with it.

And not even maybe a month into, you know, that move, I hurt
