Trauma is a rupture, a disruption along the lines of self-expression, which when we experience it,

feels like something is missing. What is missing is the creative source of self, which feels

a natural sense of being with who we really are. Once this disruption occurs, survival patterns take over and become

deeply ingrained in us as they initially work to protect us, but eventually become outdated

and stale. When this happens, it leads become outdated and stale.
