Cut the fucking check. Hello, friends. I'm Ross Bolin, and this is my show. Thank you for being here. The Ross Boland podcast. It's changed a lot over the years since its inception in 2018. We've done many hundreds of episodes.

I stopped counting after 500, and there have been many distinct chapters in this show's existence,

as those of you who have been longtime listeners well know.

And as we approach the end of another calendar year, I've spent a lot of time assessing what I want the next chapter

of this show to look like. And when I started RBP, I did so with the intention of creating

a community of listeners that could identify with my own personal struggles, life journey, and experiences. And as someone who has

struggled with mental health since I turned 21 years old, I wanted to talk about more serious

things like anxiety and depression and also relationship struggles and real life shit.

Real life shit, but with my own personal brand of humor infused throughout.

I wanted to talk about the things that matter most to me, but do it in a fun way.

You know, like a cool uncle or something.

I wanted to address things that men, in particular, typically keep quiet about and suppress deep down until it causes us

to be self-destructive animals. Rather than being preachy or condescending, as is often the case

with self-improvement podcasts and speakers, I wanted to be vulnerable and authentic. And for a long

time, I accomplished this goal. But then, much like Will Smith and the
