Hi there, it's July 25th, 2023, and I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to re-release this episode about my song Turning Page.

In celebration of a couple things that are happening relating to that song right now, Turning Page is nearing its 11th birthday, which is absolutely wild to say out loud.

And as you may know, it found its first home. It premiered in the Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 1, which I was absolutely blown away by.

And oddly enough, it never got an official music video. And so I am elated to share that today, July 25th, the official music video for Turning Page is out in the world.

It premiered this morning on Entertainment Weekly and is now available on YouTube and all the places you might find a music video.

And I am just so excited for you to see it. I'm so proud of how this video turned out.

And it came about just based on a text to my friend Derek Huff, who is this absolutely brilliant artist, dancer, so many things.

He and I had talked about maybe doing something together at some point. And when I was thinking about making a music video for this song, he came to mind.

And I just thought, man, it would be so amazing if he would be interested in being involved. And so I asked. And he, he kindly not only said yes, but he just immediately ran with it.

And I was so elated. So Derek is not only one of the stars in the video, but he also directed it alongside another stunningly talented artist, Philip Chabib.

The heart and the visual soul that that both Derek and Philip brought to this video is just so, so beautiful.

I am so proud of it and I cannot wait for you to see it.

The video features choreography by Mackenzie Chabib and Philip Chabib, an insanely talented couple.

And it features dancers Derek Huff, Hayley Erbert, Erica Klein, Jason Glover, Hayley Jone, Billy Mustafa, Coco Wasaki, and Lex Ishimoto.

And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I am just so proud of this video and cannot believe that this insanely talented group of people were kind enough to come together to create this video for my song.

I feel so touched and so honored.

I also wanted to share that my song, Turning Page, is now officially certified platinum. And that feels so weird to say out loud.

But I am really proud and just so deeply honored and grateful.

I can't believe that I get to celebrate the song in this way.

It means so much to me. So if you let this song be part of the backdrop of your life, I cannot thank you enough.

It means more to me than I'll ever be able to explain.
