Patriots Day.

Yes, it is September 11th, Monday, the most infamous date in our American calendar, but

also really the most quicksotic date as well.

A date that is excessively idealistic for the wrong reasons.

Where over time, unlike Pearl Harbor, December 7th, it is taken on or should take on a very

different meaning, but we could still come full circle and treat it and celebrate it

as Patriots Day when understood properly, what it meant, what happened, what should have

happened, and then how it has taken on a whole new life, particularly being supplanted

by, in my view, a much greater date if you want to fix a specific date to COVID fascism.

March 16th, 2020, we have been living a lie.

It's particularly jarring for people my age that came roughly of military service age

right around that time.

I always felt guilty not serving.
