First of all, I want to give a shout out to everyone that reached out to me in the last day when I empowered you all to make big asks of others.

That led to also making, led to a lot of people making big asks of me. I probably got somewhere between 30 and 40 emails

from founders journal listeners with people asking for a 15 minute phone call, with people letting

me know big asks that they've made in the last year.

I just want to share one because I think it was especially impactful.

I was reached out to you by a listener in the last day who shared that he had to make a big ask of his

wife and his family as he went on his last deployment in the US Army.

And you know, for me it just brings into perspective that not that any ask is

necessarily bigger than the other but everyone deals with their own big asks, asks that are uncomfortable,

but I feel like what always wins out is over communicating those asks, and I was super appreciative of him sharing that ask with me.

So on to today's topic. Today's topic is actually what I wrote about in my third 30 for 30 essay.

For those of you that haven't been around the last few days, I am doing a writing challenge. That writing challenge is called

Shipped 30 for 30 which basically is a challenge where I and 60 other people are

writing an essay every single day for 30 days straight.

The whole goal is to just ship new ideas,

but also to build a writing habit.
