Summary
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about a powerful mushroom that has the potential to help fight off cancer cells and strengthen your immune system. This mushroom is called the turkey tail mushroom.
The turkey tail mushroom has an interesting shape and color that looks like the tail of a turkey.
This mushroom contains at least 35 compounds that directly relate to improving your immune system and fighting cancer cells, including:
• Quercetin - This compound helps release interferon. Interferon is a potent immune chemical that interferes with the production of viruses. It also helps kill cancer cells.
• Balcaleim - This compound has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It also inhibits the spread of cancer cells, reduces the adhesion properties of tumors, and induces tumor cell cycle arrest.
• PSK/PSP - These are protein-bound carbohydrates that help increase monocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages, and immunity to toxins. These compounds are commonly used alongside chemotherapy in Japan and China.
Turkey tail mushrooms are potentially beneficial for fighting breast, blood, colon, lung, and stomach cancers.
If you are at risk for one of these forms of cancer, consider giving turkey tail mushrooms a try and let me know what you think in the comments below.

| 0:12.3 | I want to talk about a very powerful mushroom that has the potential for killing cancer |
| 0:29.3 | in strengthening your immune system. It's called the turkey tail mushroom, and the reason |
| 0:33.9 | I call it this is because it actually looks like the feathers of a turkey. Very interesting |
| 0:39.9 | color combinations, but the turkey tail mushroom has 35 different compounds that directly |
| 0:46.5 | relate to either improving your immune system or targeting cancer. I'm just going to talk |
| 0:51.8 | about a few. One is called Cureciton, which actually helps release interferon. Now what |
| 0:58.8 | is interferon. It's a very powerful immune chemical that interferes with the production |
| 1:07.6 | of viruses, thus the name, interferon. It's good for two things. It's good to kill viruses, |
| 1:17.0 | and number two, it's also good to actually kill cancer cells. A lot of times when you |
| 1:22.6 | kill the virus, you can kill the trigger of cancer as well. Are the next compound would |
| 1:28.5 | be called Baycalin. This not only has strong anti-inflammatory properties, which will inhibit |
| 1:36.8 | the spread of cancer, the adhesions of cancer cells to tumors, and it also induces cancer |
| 1:44.1 | cell cycle arrest. In the cycle of a tumor growing, it actually blocks that pathway. Now |
| 1:50.6 | the next chemicals I'm going to talk about are PSK and PSP. I don't want to give you |
| 1:55.2 | the long names at this point. If you want to learn about that, I put a link down below, |
| 1:59.0 | but these are basically protein-bound carbohydrates that have interesting effects in the immune |
| 2:05.4 | system. They can directly increase monocytes, which by the way, monocytes turn into macrophages, |
| 2:12.2 | which are like the guard of the immune system. They gobble up all these pathogens as well |
| 2:16.8 | as cancer cells, and they have the potential to kill them, as well as increasing something |
| 2:22.3 | called dendritic cells, which is part of the immune system. It increases immunity to toxins, |
