Turkey says it's not trading with Israel.

Turkey says it is stopping all trade with Israel because the humanitarian situation in

Gaza is getting worse.

The BBC's Yulan Nell reports from Jerusalem.

Trade between the two countries was worth some $7 billion last year.

Now the Turkish Trade Ministry says all imports and exports will be stopped

until there's uninterrupted and adequate humanitarian aid allowed into Gaza.

Writing on X Israel's foreign minister Israel Katz

said the Turkish president was breaking international trade agreements.

This is how a dictator behaves, disregarding the interests of the Turkish people and businessman, he wrote.

The move is expected to hit Israel's construction sector, which relies on supplies from Turkey.
