All right, welcome back to the Ford podcast. It's me, Lance, your host, my guest this week, Turk Pipkin, all six foot seven of him.

Turk's been in this part of the world for a long time, been in Austin, almost that entire time.

Some of you might recognize him from some of his acting.

He was an actor who did, it on the sopranos Friday night lights

but Turk has lived an interesting life and seemingly you know sometimes you

meet people that that it just seems like they know everybody well Turk

pippkin is one of those people like whether it's Willie Nelson or Bob

Dylan or Roger Stahlback or I'm just making up I mean just like oh yeah I got a story about them the dude has gotten around but most importantly

Is he started an amazing nonprofit called the nobility project which really just

started out as which is we speak a lot about these two things in the in

this episode but really started out as a film where he went around and

interviewed a whole bunch of Nobel Prize winners and just, you know, I've asked them amazing questions.

And out of that spun the Nobility project, which is a great charity that him and his wife founded many, many years ago.

So they're doing great work.

Fascinating conversation, one of those ones that could have gone on for hours and hours.
