We've got a couple of brief announcements before we dive into this week's episode.

Darren and I are very excited to introduce a new show under the Defense Diaries umbrella.

It's called Sidebar.

You know, those little secret coffee clutches that lawyers and judges are constantly having

Durning Trial, and which really irritated you because it stops the flow of the trial?

Yeah, those things.

Well, we're letting you in on the secret, and we're going to be covering breaking news

in current cases as only Defense Diaries can, providing you with the information you

need to actually understand what's going on with the case.

The first episodes have already dropped, and as you probably guessed, we just had to dig

into the ad non-Scied, Hey man, Lee case, which had been brought to notoriety by both

serial and undisclosed podcasts.

And we think that it's great, and we believe that you'll think that it's great too, so

go ahead and give it a listen.

Now we'll be keeping it on the DD feed for a short period of time before it puts on

its big boy pants and has a feed of its own.

Now our second announcement will not impact your ability to listen to the pod at all wherever
