Today is September 28th, and this is Episode 3.

In the first couple of episodes of Sidebar, we covered the incredible breaking news regarding

Adnan Sayet and his conviction being vacated.

Now after those episodes were published, we heard from some of our listeners and they

wanted to let me know that my admiration for Marilyn Mosby might be misplaced due

to the fact that Ms. Mosby is currently under federal indictment for fraud, relating

not to anything that she did while she has been the city attorney for Baltimore, but

instead for various counts of fraud relating to relief funds that were doled out to Americans

during the pandemic.

Now if you listen to our show at all, you know that she is innocent until proven guilty.

That's not negotiable, as the constitution is pretty clear about that.

Now if she goes to trial and is found guilty, I have to be honest with respect to what she

did in her professional life as the city attorney, my opinion of what she did in office along

with Becky Feldman is not tainted.

In the least, I value liberty, freedom, and justice over money.

I just do, and I always will.

So whatever her motivation was in leading her to have her administration's mantra, be

justice over convictions, whether it was to gain notoriety, fame, curry favor, again,

in all honesty, I could care less.
