Good morning, everybody, the simple handicap for Tuesday, September 5th. Thank you for making me a part of your morning. Day number two of 150 as we get right into the thick of things with NFL season, week one, finally kicking off. If you're back to the work week this morning, hopefully your commute is going well. If you're listening at home, you're still getting your day ready. Hopefully your Tuesday was off to a fantastic start. Yesterday's episode went really, really long. That was expected. This is the first episode, but we'll speed things up and get back to the usual format today. For all of you listening, for maybe the first time of the season, this is more what you will expect time and duration-wise each and every morning. So here we go with the market rundown for Tuesday, September 5th.

Kansas City Chief, still a six and a half point favorite across the board.

We are now seeing the first 55 show up on the board as Bet Chris posts 55, 54.5

everywhere else across the board a number that could still maybe tick up just a little bit. Chris Jones, that news I'm ready to sort of put a stamp on it. I'm going to say he's not playing. Again, this is speculation on my part. He hasn't been in camp. The sides are communicating, but it seems like he's wanting $30 million. Is Kansas City willing to make that happen? Even if they do, how effective is he going to be

at this point? In terms of the prop market, we talked about it yesterday. I got a text from Hitman

yesterday morning, Tom to Hitman. He says, Gibbs is the tout play of the century for props.

Now, he wasn't endorsing it as a massive enormous bet. What he was referencing specifically

is four of the major prop services, each on a Gibbs receiving yards over. And you look through

the Twitter timelines today of a number of beatwriters, a number of people that just covered a league.

And it's all about how Ben Johnson is reinventing a position for Gibbs to play in, and that is going to be in full feature on Thursday night.

My question in all of this is if the Chiefs defensive line, we know it's without Omanahue, if it's not going to be with Chris Jones on that defensive line either,

we may be forgetting about David Montgomery, who's now in line to be running back number one,

potentially, unless if Gibbs is playing all these other positions,

certainly going to be an emphasis on running the football for the Lions if the game remains competitive

when the Chiefs are not walking up and down the field.

Nevertheless, two days to go. Let's see more about

this Jones talk a little bit later today. As we jump over to Sunday and get into the full

slate of games that starts off with the Carolina Panthers at the Atlanta Falcons, DJ

Chark, the key guy to watch injury-wise within this game, he did an interview yesterday in the locker

room. And he says that while he had a setback.

Now he hinted at it. He didn't phrase things like he was confident that he was going to be out there

on the field. We don't know about his counterpart Marshall, wide receiver number two for the Panthers,
