And we always start with the top story we've been finding out more and more about the 58 year old man accused of Sunday's assassination attempt of former President

Trump.

He was charged yesterday with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession

of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

According to court documents, he camped outside of Trump's golf course in West Palm Beach

for over 12 hours with food and a rifle.

The Secret Service also said that he never had a line of sight on the former president and never fired a single shot, contrary to previous reports.

Secret Service members spotted him and that's when he fled body cam footage of his eventual arrest has also come out.

President Biden spoke with Trump on the phone yesterday and reportedly expressed his

relief that the former president is safe. Authorities are still working to confirm whether or not this suspect

acted alone more to come
