And we always start with the top story. This one broke yesterday. It's to be big for a while shots were fired

in the vicinity of former President Trump while he golfed at his club in Florida

FBI are investigating it as an assassination attempt They held a press conference yesterday afternoon

and said they have one suspect in custody.

That suspect has apparently been very critical of the former president

on social media, and according to reports reports was once charged with possession of a

weapon of mass destruction. According to authorities he was located about three to

five hundred yards away from Trump when the shots were fired. He got in a vehicle and quickly left the scene but was soon apprehended on a nearby highway.

Last night Trump emailed his supporter saying he was safe and well.

Vice President Harris, his opponent in this race, was briefed on the situation and she said,

quote, violence has no place in America.

I'm sure we'll get lots more information throughout the week.
