Now, let's join Kurt for today's episode. Hey, friends. Welcome back. Appreciate you joining us for today's episode of Everyday Truth. We think about Proverbs and we think about the word wisdom.

In fact, if I think, if I were just to stop the average Christian in church

and say, hey, what's Proverbs all about? Probably somewhere in that first couple of sentences, people would say wisdom.

And that would be the right answer because Proverbs really is the book of wisdom. It's part of wisdom literature.

And we know that one of the chief goals of Solomon, of the Lord, in this book, is that we would have wisdom.

And I like a working definition for wisdom.

I like to think of wisdom as seeing life from God's perspective.

So making right choices based upon right information.

And here we are in Proverbs chapter 3, and we're talking a bit more about this theme,

this theme topic of wisdom.

We ended yesterday talking about wisdom and understanding. The merchandise of it is better than the

merchandise of silver. The gain thereof than fine gold. And one thing I failed to mention
