Everyday Truth. Proverbs chapter 3 today in our Bibles. We are about halfway through,

maybe not quite halfway through this great chapter. We talked about honoring the Lord.

The last episode, hope you remember that. And we talked

about the fact that honor means to give weight to. So it's a weighty thing. It's an important

thing to honor the Lord, to place value upon him with everything he's given us, our substance, and certainly the first

fruit of all of our increase. God is the one that prospers us, and we ought to take note of that

and acknowledge that and then act upon that, realizing that even what we keep belongs to the Lord.

And as always, when we obey the Lord, we follow him,

he gives us a promised blessing.

And watch the blessing that God promises in verse 10 of Proverbs 3.
