Tonight is the vice presidential debate.

The two vice presidential candidates in the upcoming election will finally go head to head

Senator J.D. Vance and Governor Tim Walls.

It starts at 9 o'clock Eastern tonight.

It's going to be 90 minutes long, moderated by Nora O'Donnell of CBS Evening News and Margaret Brennan

from Face the Nation.

It's happening in New York and just like the presidential debates, there will be no

audience, but unlike those debates, there will be no muting

of microphones, although CBS News reserves the right to turn off a

microphone if they feel they need to.
