becomes the latest center of power to come under scrutiny for sexual harassment.

And Senator Kirsten Gillibrand on being a woman in Congress in this moment.

Katie Rogers, when did Congress realize that it had to evaluate its own role in this cultural moment around sexual harassment?

You can really think about the reporting that the New York Times has done on Harvey Weinstein spreading eastward from Hollywood to the Capitol.

I think in some ways it was a matter of time just because Washington and Hollywood have similar power dynamics.

I now call to order the Committee on House Administration for purposes of today's hearing titled

Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.

One of the results of the increased scrutiny on sexual harassment and workplace violations of that nature on Capitol Hill was a hearing last Tuesday

held by the House Administration Committee.

There is no place for sexual harassment in our society, period, and especially in Congress.

It was a pretty stunning, unusual hearing for Capitol Hill.

Today we'll hear from two members.

What sort of testimony was there at this hearing?

Congresswoman Barbara Komsack, she's a Republican of Virginia, spoke out about a male lawmaker.

This is about a member who is here now.

Tricking a young woman into showing up at his home.

This member asked the staffer to bring them over some materials to their residents.
