The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. What I'm about to tell you could very much

sound like a conspiracy theory. It could also just be a tragic coincidence.

I will tell you what happened and you can make your mind up for yourself, okay? If you remember

yesterday, I talked about how the Department of Justice just launched an investigation into Boeing,

the American-based company that makes almost half of the commercial airplanes in the entire world.

And this investigation by the DOJ is related to one of Boeing's planes basically falling apart in the sky back in January.

But Boeing has also been battling a lawsuit from a former employee that claims a lot of the safety issues that Boeing has been dealing with over

the last seven or eight years are a direct result of the finance people basically cutting

the quality control people out of the plane making process. And at the center of this lawsuit

was a guy named John Barnett, a man who worked for Boeing until 2017 when he became a whistleblower

that started speaking out

about how the company was cutting corners when it came to the quality of their airplanes in order

to save money. Up until this weekend, Barnett was in the middle of interviews for a lawsuit against

Boeing, and on Saturday he was supposed to arrive for another round of questioning. But he never

showed up. And yesterday,

it was announced that Barnett, the guy who is a key witness against Boeing, was found dead in his

car. And at the moment, police are claiming his death was caused by a, quote, self-inflicted wound.
