So let me just talk a little bit about what we're looking at.

And I love this site because it affords us the opportunity to see so many different Bible eras from one place.

For instance, Judges chapters four and five, Mount Tabor, which the Catholics hold to be

the Mount of Transfiguration. So there's a monastery in the top of it. You can actually climb

Mount Tabor, but Mount Tabor is an easy mountain to recognize because of its dome shape.

And you've seen it many times.

I've pointed it out, remember even at Hippos, we can see it from the Sea of Galilee all the way over there.

So there's Mount Tabor.

Remember the story?

Deborah and Berwick and how they were, the people of Israel were under the rule of Jabin,

the king, and they won the battle.

He had the 900 chariots and God allowed a flash flood in the Kishon River to create a muddy plane

and all the chariots were stuck in the mud and Cicero, the general, ran from the battle and he ran

to a place right down here, right kind of like in the middle of the valley, and to the tent of Heber

the Keenite. And his wife, Jail, J.L, was there. Oh, come on in. Have some milk. Remember?

She took that tent peg and drove it through his head. And S mother lamented his his non-return so there

there's one story right there the story of mount tabor and then if you go down to the left you can't

really see it but right in that region you're already seeing that in the distance those are the

mountains of of of jordan you know so the lowerlan and that the gilead that's it but down here
