Now, let's see where Kurt is today.

Hey guys, I'm standing on the sunny Temple Mount here in Jerusalem, and it's actually Pentecost.

Think about that.

Pentecost, the inauguration of the church

2,000 years ago.

We're standing here on Temple Mount.

Of course, behind me is the dome of the rock,

which is a Muslim shrine built over the foundation stone.

But this is where the temple stood for many, many years.

The first temple of Solomon's Day for 300 years stood here until it was destroyed in 587 BC,

but then rebuilt by Zerububel and his workers in 536 and then completed in 520 to 516, sometimes called the Ezra Temple, and then refurbished again by Herod

in the early days, really the time of Jesus, a little bit before that, and then destroyed again

by the Romans in 70 AD. And since then there's been no temple temple here but one day the third temple will be built

and those of us that know Jesus as our Savior will enter with Jesus into this place.

In fact I'm standing on the steps.

Let me just turn around here and show you.
