Good morning, America. Mixed messages on Peace Talk with Iran.

Some of the passengers from the Honta Virus cruise ship head home and the comeback on the

court. Serena is set to take the stage once again. We begin, though, with the latest on the war with

Iran confusion overnight as President Trump sends mixed messages on the negotiations and Iran

threatens to end talks over Israeli strikes in Lebanon, which prompted an angry phone call between

President Trump and the Israeli Prime Minister.

Senior political correspondent Rachel Scott is tracking it all from the White House.

George, good morning to you.

Yes, and when Iran threatened to call off these talks entirely, the president brushed

off publicly saying that he could not care less.

But sources tell me privately, behind the scenes, President Trump

is actively fighting to keep these talks alive, even having a very tense phone call with Israeli

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

95 days into this war and with talks on the brink of collapse, this morning President Trump

declaring negotiations are back on track.

Complicating the deal, Israel's incursion into Lebanon, advancing deeper in the region to fight Iranian-backed Hezbollah.
