Hey there, Will, so there's been millions of dollars raised and a massive amount of attention placed on the primary for L.A.

Mayor and Spencer Pratt is a very big reason for that. A well-known name with Lightning Rod opinions making his first foray into politics.

The reality star turned conservative firebrand Spencer Pratt is gaining significant attention for his impassioned and provocative campaign to potentially

become L.A.'s first Republican mayor in 25 years. Pratt rose to fame and met his wife Heidi

Montag on the early 2000s MTV show The Hills. It's going to be me and you here, right?

Deal. His campaign has taken aim at the incumbent mayor Karen Bass, a Democrat who's battled

low approval ratings largely connected to her response to last year's devastating wildfires.

Palisades mansion was among the many homes that burnt down in the fires.
