Today is Tuesday, July 27th, and you're listening to the morning announcements

0:07.1

presented by Batches Media. I'm Sammy Sage.

Both the state of California and New York City announced changes to their vaccination

0:15.8

requirements for workers yesterday. New York City is now requiring that all city workers

0:20.4

are vaccinated while California will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or weekly testing

0:26.3

for all state workers and health care employees. At the same time, the Veterans Affairs Agency

1:21.1

long-term symptoms of COVID-19 can be considered disability under federal civil rights laws.

1:26.1

This comes as the Americans with Disabilities Act celebrated its 31st anniversary yesterday.

1:30.7

And the Department of Education issued a document about the responsibility of schools to

1:34.5

provide services and reasonable modifications for children with long COVID.

1:41.1

Apparently, President Biden's schedule was full of many calls in many meetings yesterday,

1:45.3

because he also hosted a RACS Prime Minister at the White House, with the agenda of
