And we always start with the top story. President Biden's decision to not seek re-election

still dominating headlines. I read that his staff knew about his decision one

minute before the rest of us found out. They were informed right before he

announced and after he officially

backed his Vice President Kamala Harris as the one to take his place, more and more

high-ranking members of the Democratic Party have hopped on board. I just read

this morning that she officially has enough endorsements

to secure the Democratic nomination.

It's still not a done deal, but the support is there.

After Biden made his announcement,

her campaign reportedly raised $81 million in the first 24 hours.

It's apparently the most in presidential history.

And I read that a lot of those high-role or Democratic donors that were nervous to back

Biden recently have already been writing checks to Kamala. It's also

making news that a little over 10 years ago former president Trump

donated $6,000 to Kamala Harris.

That was when she was running for California's attorney general.
