When an actor gets cast as a lawyer, they might shadow a lawyer.

So what happens when you're cast as a major fan of SNM?

Well, you hit the gym and visit a sex dungeon.

Wow.

Jamie Dornan, who's playing Christian Grey in the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie, just revealed in a new interview that his research process involved more than learning, you know, how to look good, he had to visit several sex dungeons.

He said, I went there and one they offered me a beer and then just did whatever they were into.

I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives, saw whips, chains, things I'd never seen before I'm close.

He said he had some fun while he was doing it.

He said, you know, I said to them, I'm not banned for this, but I am expecting a show.

He said it made for some real interesting evenings.

And he said once he returned home to his wife and newborn child, he did take a long shower before touching either of them.

Oh, sure.

But part of his role to research for the 50 Shades of Grey movie was spending some time in sex dungeons.
