Hey, friends, welcome back.

We're in Matthew chapter 8, and we're in this section of the book of Matthew where we're just reading miracle after miracle

of Jesus. So exciting to see the power of the Lord, the care of the Lord. But most importantly,

excuse me, the mission. Remember, the miracles underscore the message, which underscores the great mission of Jesus. We're in Matthew

chapter 8, excuse me, I got a frog of my throat this morning, but to Matthew chapter 8. And I

wanted to see verse number 5, where the Bible says, and when Jesus was entered into Copernium, so Copernium, we know this already,

was Jesus adopted hometown, the headquarters of his Galilee and ministry. There came unto him

a centurion beseeching him and saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously

tormented. So we know from the parallel passages that this centurion was a man of some

notoriety in Copernium. He had actually been part of the building of the

synagogue. It's a privilege for me to lead trips to Israel. And by the way, we're going,
