There's been another twist in the FTX crypto saga with an arrest in the Bahamas.

That's where we're starting the 7th from the Washington Post.

Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

The 30-year-old founder of FTX, Sam Bankman Freed, was arrested last night.

The cryptocurrency exchange filed for bankruptcy last month.

That happened after FTX didn't have enough money to let customers

withdraw their funds. The arrest went down in the Bahamas after US prosecutors

indicted him. Before this happened, Bankman Freed had been expected to testify before Congress today.

The latest data on rising prices comes out this morning. That's our second story today.

Experts believe that inflation slowed again last month.

The numbers they expect are still too high for a healthy economy,

but they would show some progress.

The Federal Reserve, the U.S. Central Bank, is expected to raise interest rates

again tomorrow.

That's one of the only tools it has to fight rising prices.

Inflation has zigged and zagged in many directions this year.

Officials at the Fed wants to see months of steady progress before changing any tactics.

Number three, there's a blizzard exploding over the central US.

Parts of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota,

and Nebraska could get up to two feet of snow,

and the storm could bring severe thunderstorms
