Hey, friends, we're nearing an end to our study of the book of Ephesians.

We're here in Ephesians 6, and we have been talking a bit about the spiritual or the, yeah, the spiritual armor that we are to wear as believers going through each part of that armor.

And verse number 18 is kind of a verse that some people include this as part of the spiritual armor.

Some don't, but let me explain what I think

the apostle is driving at in verse number 18. So remember, verse 17, taking the helmet of salvation

and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. So we have the, we're a spiritual soldier, we are loins to gird about with

truth, we have on the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, our feet are shot

with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We have the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit,

and we've talked all about it. And then the Bible says, praying always.

So is prayer listed as one of the elements of the armor of the believer?

And the answer, the short answer is no, because it's not equated to any part of the armor,

but it is the thought of spiritual warfare still in view, and the answer to that

question is yes, it is. And the point here is that as a soldier who has been readily equipped
