Matt Schultz, lead singer of rock band KG Elephant was arrested on weapons charges after police say they found firearms in his possession in New York City hotel.

Why am I just hearing about this? I heard about it the other day for sure.

You did. Police responded to a 911 call that reported an individual at Manhattan's Bowery Hotel was in possession of a weapon.

Authorities say they obtained a search warrant and found two loaded weapons in one of the rooms and arrested the 39 year old musician for possessing.

This is the thing I don't get. I'll quote a loaded firearm with intent to use it unlawfully against another.

How do you know with someone? I understand like if you got a bunch of weed or whatever they say intent to distribute because you got too much for personal use.

But I've never heard of that with the gun. It must be a thing a loaded firearm with the intent to use it unlawfully against another.

I mean, the story that I read said that he had shown it to someone.

And so that's why that, you know, like maybe he, I don't know, pulled it out and pointed it or not, but that they he had obviously showed it.

And then they call them something whoever that was called the cops on said they confiscated a loaded 45 caliber Smith and Western pistol in addition to a 45 caliber six hour pistol and charge a musician with several other weapons charges.

We've met him many times. Yeah. She seemed like a decent guy seems like a good guy. It seemed very very nice. I will say they do seem they seem like a rock band.
