Here's what you missed today in the world of tech.

It wasn't GPT 5, which we'll get to in a second, but Open AI yesterday unveiled

GPT 4-O, as in the letter O, a new flagship generative AI model that is faster and natively multimodal,

rolling out for free to all chat geepT users in the coming weeks.

The O stands for Omni, referring to the model's ability to handle

text, speech, and video. GPT 4-O is set to roll out iteratively across the

company's developer and consumer-facing products over the next few weeks.
