Welcome back to the Victor Davis Hansen show. Victor, I know that we're always trying to start

off with something a little positive. And I thought the Tucker story that he's starting up a

podcast of some sort or a cast of some sort on Twitter was good news. What do you think?

Yeah, I think it is. I mean, the more you'll have Fox, you'll have Newsmax, you'll have Tucker.

So maybe it will expand rather than fragment the audience. It has there's some questions about it

all when he says he's going to be on. We don't know what that means. Is it going to be the same format?

He's got two beautiful studios in Maine and Florida. Is he going to have guests?

If his retinue from Fox come on, as Fox is going to say, if you go on to Tucker's, you can't go back

onto Fox. I mean, they don't do that with Newsmax. And that's one of the advantages, I think,

of not being a paid Fox analyst. So somebody like me can go on to Newsmax or wherever I want.

Yes, but I don't know if that'll be in the same policy that the Fox News analysts,

I think they're confined to Fox, but will the freelancers be allowed to go on Tucker as they

are other venues? That'll be interesting. So I think it's great news. I think also there's a

shelf life on all celebrity people like that. In other words, you've got to get back in the game

as quickly as possible because it's such a fragment in an audience. There's so much competition

for what he does. And he does it so well that it's good to keep writing the quest of that wave.
