Now, from there, Fox took this incredible advantage that they had, if you want to see this as a combat sport, and absolutely squandered it.

They put Harris Faulkner out on Monday morning to say, in absolutely deadpan tones, you expected her to blink that she was being tortured.

Tucker Carlson is not with our network anymore. We really thank him for working hard for many years.

You weren't really sure whether Harris Faulkner hated him and was made to say this or loved him and was drugged and then lobotomize and told do not say anything nice about him. We're going to war with it.

This is also odd.

If you're Tucker and a lot of people have kind of pieced together a little fact here and a little fact there, some of which may be true, a lot of which is in you window. There's a lot of traffic. I know because I've been on the periphery of it and getting tidbits of it.

When a media company has someone that's worth that much that is the face of the operation, they want to lock them down.

A lot of reasons for that.

You want to be secure in your revenue stream, but you also realize that you are part of building up that talent.

You're putting promos on all day long for his show that helps Tucker.

And he's enjoying it and you're enjoying it as long as you're all on the same page and it's the same ship that's good.

And then you fire him, you still got promos running with the news hits.
