Hey everybody, Sue Marriott here, and I'm Anne Kelly. Welcome to Therapist Uncensored.

And there is a national conversation happening every day right in our households and it's really

what conversation is that in Kelly it is the national conversation about sexual harassment,

sexual assault, about the media.

We see it every day now.

There's no way to wake up and turn on NPR or pick up your paper and there is

someone else that has an accusation and just the level of magnitude of the amount of sexual assault that's happened in our

culture throughout time what's happening now the power differential it is a it's

everyday dialogue right now that's right we're seeing it in our practices.

People who have never spoken of their stories are beginning to feel them, speak of them,

and it is a exciting and power flip really as you know there becomes

safety in numbers and well and the freedom what you're saying is also sort of

there's this process of when people start to have the dialogue and start to talk about it, and it's not the forbidden thing.

There's an opening, there's a release, and then you have a lot of people talking about it whether it's happening to them

people they love there's there's a there's a there's what would you say there's just

an opening about it that's right and for people who identify as women it has been the most powerful

power flip strength in numbers and in order to have this conversation, since we both identify as women, we thought

it important to widen the conversation. So we have a very special guest with us today,

someone who does not identify as a woman. His name is Mason Marriott Voss and why

don't you introduce yourself a little bit.
