Fihai who is a clinical psychologist specializing in trauma in EMDR and she is the co-director of a truly outstanding program in Zimbabwe called The Friendship Bench.

Zimbabwe is a country that has experienced, as Ruth will discuss, a great deal of difficulty and trauma.

Its population struggles, just like many of us, with depression and suicide and other mental health issues.

And yet there are 12 psychiatrists for 14 million people approximately.

So if we stop to think about the math, that's just painful.

And yet, there's so many ways to care for individuals out there

besides the traditional mental health Western model.
