And we brought this episode in because Dr Atkins is a research associate at the

University of Texas at Austin in the School of Social Work, and she

specializes in attachment-based interventions.

And she studied under Peter Fonigy and Patrick Luton at the University College in London and the

Anna Freud centers and so she has a wealth of knowledge and in this episode Sue and Tina discuss the concept of mentalizing and

mentalizing is a critical component of being able to relate in a secure way.
