And today we are rewinding back through time to the year 2015, September the 7th to be exact.

The original episode was 1646 and the title of it was called Let's Talk about Liberty.

Yesterday we had a rewind of one of my personal favorite shows of all time.

It was about guns and hunting wisdom of our fathers.

And I talked about freedom in that episode both in the new content and the old content in a different way.

I talked about it from the standpoint of the freedom of being able to explore the world as someone using a gun as a tool to develop mastery of the gun.

And at the same time to put food on the table, that is a type of freedom, a type of liberty.

And I thought it synced well with this episode going after it. That's why I set it up that way in the schedule.

This episode is a totally different thing though. It's not really about any individual liberty or freedom.

Like it's important to protect this particular freedom.

It is a macro view of liberty that people in this country who fancy themselves to be pro-liberty tend to actually be pretty anti-liberty and they don't really want liberty.

Liberty means everybody gets to do anything they want until they hurt somebody else.

That's the most simple definition that I can give.

But you have every right to do everything that you want, no matter what it is, no matter how many people say you don't, as long as you're not hurting other people.

You want to use drugs, go use drugs.

You want to drink too much, as long as you don't get in a car and kill somebody, go drink too much.

You want to kill yourself because you abuse your body because you use substances in a way that are abusive.
