It is holy week, the week between Palm Sunday and Easter and each day.

I'll be reading the stories from the Gospels.

That's Matthew, Mark, Luke and John that coincide with this exact day.

Today is Wednesday and I will be reading from the new English translation version.

And we will start in Matthew 26 versus 14 through 16.

Then one of the 12, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said,

what will you give me to betray him into your hands?

And so they set out 30 silver coins for him.

From that time on, Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

This is Mark 14, 10 through 11.

Then Judas Iscariot, one of the 12, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus into their hands.

And when they heard this, they were delighted and promised to give him money.

So Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

This is Luke 22, 3 through 6.

Then Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the 12.

He went away and discussed with the chief priests and officers of the temple guard

how he might betray Jesus, handing him over to them.

They were delighted and arranged to give him money.

So Judas agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus when no crowd was present.
