0:07.0	I am your host Annie F. Downs and I'm so happy to be here with you.
0:11.8	It is holy week the week between Palm Sunday and Easter and each day I will be reading
0:16.9	the stories from the gospels that's Matthew, Mark, Luke and John that coincide with this

0:24.0	If you have not been able to listen starting back at Palm Sunday and leading up to today
0:28.6	Good Friday, if you have time I'd recommend doing that and catching up with our story.
0:33.8	Today is Good Friday and I will be reading from the message version.
0:39.2	We will start in Matthew chapter 26 verse 47 and go to chapter 27 verse 66.
0:47.3	The words were barely out of his mouth when Judas, the one from the 12 showed up and with
0:53.1	him a gang from the high priests and religious leaders, brandishing swords and clubs.
0:59.0	The betrayer had worked out a sign with them.
1:01.8	The one I kiss, that's the one, sees him.
1:04.7	He went straight to Jesus, greeted him, how are you Rabbi and kissed him.
1:09.3	And Jesus said, friend, why this charade?
1:12.7	And then they came on him, grabbed him and roughed him up.
1:16.3	One of those with Jesus pulled his sword and taking a swing at the chief priest servant
1:22.6	cut off his ear.
1:24.5	Jesus said, put your sword back where it belongs.
1:27.5	All who use swords are destroyed by swords.
1:31.2	Don't you realize that I am able right now to call to my father and 12 companies, more
1:36.2	if I want them, of fighting angels would be here, battle ready.
