Aren't they sounding good?

I see people

with their spiritual fork and their knife out

and napkin on.

They're like, feed me, feed me.

Well, okay.

I've been cooking half the day and half the night. So, right? In 1 John, if you'd look there, the fourth chapter, when I've been with you, we've been on this series that we're calling try the spirits.

And in 1 John 4, this is our passage where we got that phrase.

1 John 4 1.

He said, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God and what he's saying by that is test the spirits that

that word tries can be translated prove examine test the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

One of the things that the church is very ignorant of is spiritual things.

You know, in 1st Corinthians he said, I would not have you ignorant concerning spiritual things.

And when the Lord says that, why would he say it?

Because folks are ignorant of spiritual things.

And one of the first basic realities is that there is another realm besides this material realm, another dimension.

And you yourself and myself, we are not just physical beings.

We are spirit beings.
