We've been on a series for a number of weeks now

that we're calling Try the Spirits.

And it's from 1 John chapter 4, if you'd turn there.

They'll put it on the screen for us.

1 John 4 and verse 1.

1.1. 1 John 4 and 1 1 1.

It says, beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits.

That word try means test or examine.

Examine the spirits.

Try the spirits.

To what end? Whether they're of God? We'd say, or not.

Because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

And so he's saying that there's individuals that are influenced by wrong spirits.

This is a reality that many have just either not heard or they ignored when they heard it.

If you believe the Bible, and we do completely, much as we know.

It's not like any other book.

It reveals that there is a whole dimension other than the material that is an unseen realm.

Now, if you've read the scriptures much at all, you've come across this.

And how that there is a realm of spirits.

And the truth is, you are a spirit. You're not just a body. Your body is the vessel,

or the Bible calls it a tabernacle, it calls it a house. Your body is not you.
