Good morning, Church.

My name is Jonathan Billups.

I am one of your church planting residents here at TVC.

And for the next year, my family and I will be among you until we are sent out to plant a church in San Diego, California,

among immigrants, refugees, and post-Christian Americans.

There was a time in my life where it was marked by the absence of my earthly father. But Christ in the

gospel has shown me that God is my true father. Today our passage is out of John 1717. Sanctify

them by the truth. Your word is truth.

My name is Mason King and one of the elders here.

I serve as the executive director of discipleship.

And we are in our fifth week of our series about God's communicable attributes.

These are the ways about who God is that we as his creatures can be like him, except not like him in the same perfection and power because he's God

and we're not.

This week we're talking about truth.

Now, every fall I get to sit with a group of high school seniors and have a conversation with

them about the world they woke up in.

And in about 20 minutes, I do 2,000 years of history on the whiteboard.
