You know, some of the things that we learned here with these profilers,

Dr. Ann Burgess said the blood evidence at Nancy Guthrie's home

suggested something went very wrong during the abduction

and that the scene does not look like clean, organized kidnapping.

She also raised the possibility that Nancy may not have been the

primary target, suggesting motives like retaliation, revenge, or an attempt to emotionally hurt

someone connected to her family. Phil, I know you're the expert tonight on Dr. Ann Burgess,

so you're going to present it. What do you got there, Phil? Well, some of what she said

does definitely make sense. She didn't think, and I don't think any of the people on the panel

fought or had put much behind the fact that there was these ransom demands. They think that that was

all nonsense. She actually stated that

it could have been staged, which would mean a deliberate misdirection with regard to the motive

in this case, that perhaps it wasn't for a financial game, that it was for revenge. She claimed

it was very, very personal what she

believed happened. Now, she is an experience profiler. I do believe that we have to give

some consideration to the statements that she made. And this far on, and we don't have an arrest,

a hundred and fifteen days, it's extremely frustrating.

And some of the other things that she said was that she believed that the FBI was holding back

very pertinent information that if released to the public would aid in this investigation.

I truly believe that. And I think

all of us have called for several things. There's no press conferences since the very beginning.
