Joshua chapter 2, verse 24.

And they said to Joshua, truly the Lord has given all the land into our hands.

And also all the inhabitants of the land melt away because of us. What a report.

Like this is people coming back from spying out the promised land. Remember the last time

they did this? And the report came back. This land is full of big people that we could never overtake. And we can't go in there,

even though God had promised it to them. And they turned back, rebelled against him, and an entire

generation died in the wilderness. And now a new generation is on the scene. And they go into the

land and they see it. And they come back and they report to

Joshua truly the Lord has given all the land into our hands. In other words, we believe God. We are

trusting God to lead us as he has promised he would lead us.

Is that not a good word?

What happens when God's people trust him to lead them as he has promised he would lead them?

And even this picture, the Lord has given all the land into our hands.

The reality is God owns that land.

They know it, and they know that the only way they can take it is if God gives it to them.

In the same way, you and I should know, God owns all things,

which means anything good we ever receive that we ever have is given to us by his hand.

And all of this then leads us to pray. God, help us today to take you at your word.

In all that you're calling us to do according to your word,

the leadership of your spirit, help us to boldly step into what you are calling us to,

without fear, with humility before you, with trust in you, with wholehearted Caleb like
