So as you take those words in, notice how they land for you at this point in your life and in relationship to anything that you're experiencing.

I think one of the great things about poetry or any person's writing is that we hear them

differently at different points in our life.

And something in us gets illuminated based on what we're going through and how those words meet a certain part of us.

For me, there's something powerful about staying committed to trusting my process, even in doubt. I'm not sure about you,

but I know for myself, when doubt arises, there's just this desire to get clarity as quickly as possible.

And usually that clarity feels like it needs to come in the form of knowing what to do.

But there's simultaneously this other part of me that recognizes it's not that simple.

That this point of doubt, confusion, ambiguity, it's going to take some time.

Something within me is going to need to shift or reorganize or expand in order to have some clarity

around what needs to come next or they'll need to be a certain kind of surrender or letting go

or trust that's why i really like the second line of what she writes
