President Donald Trump wrapped up his two-day meeting in China today without any major deals announced.

Trump told reporters on Air Force One that he talked to Chinese President Xi Jinping about U.S. arms sales to Taiwan,

but says he made no commitment on the self-governing island.

That's after Beijing warned that the touchy subject could cause problems with Washington.

With the U.S. defend Taiwan if it came to it?

I don't want to say. I can say that.

There's only one person that knows that.

You know who it is? I'm the only person.

That question was asked to be today by President Xi.

Trump said, Trumps didn't even come up during his meeting, but he said he's considering

lifting sanctions on Chinese companies that buy Iranian oil as the war drags on.

There also wasn't any firm deal to reopen the strait of Hormuz, sending Brent oil futures

above $108 a barrel.

Wall Street investors also grew weary over the lack of specifics from Trump's meeting with

Xi, sending all three major U.S. indexes in the red.
